Or do you want to continue the historical exploration with a visit to a walled medieval town? Answer yes? This is the tour for you!
After pick up from your accommodation it is up the motorway to the medieval town of BATALHA. Stop here to explore the stunning monastery and then enjoy a coffee in the square as you admire the architecture. Then it is a short drive to the neighboring town of Alcobaça and discover a second monastery.
With the roof down we drive out to the coast to Nazaré known for it´s large sandy beaches, beautiful coloured fishing boats and large waves. Have lunch whilst looking out across the ocean before returning to Lisbon.

Spend time exploring the boutique shops, taste the famous GINJA from a chocolate cup. Visit the castle grounds and climb the city walls for amazing views!
OR
visit the sanctuary and other famous religious sites in the town of Fatima. Maybe join a procession, go on pilgrimage, even stay overnight with pick up the following day.
